This is the home of the Chester Festival Chorus.  Every year from May onwards we work hard to prepare for our annual appearance in the glorious setting of Chester Cathedral.  Over the years we’ve had a chance to sing with many world renowned orchestras, conductors and soloists. Look through the site for information about the choir, our past and future concerts, as well as information on how you can join us!

Our 2017 concert celebrates the sea, those who sail on it, the ships they sail in, and yes, the sea itself.  We will be performing Ralph Vaughan Williams’ epic Sea Symphony, settings of poems by Walt Whitman, with soloists Sarah Fox and Roderick Williams, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and conductor David Hill.  The concert will also feature Edward Elgar’s elegiac Sea Pictures, with mezzo Jennifer Johnston.  Join us on July 1st at 8pm in Chester Cathedral.  More details here.
